That's what I ought to do, Dr. E... I was just diagnosed with type II diabetes and don't like it much at all... A little weight loss like that might just make that go away...

weighed in at 235 this morning...i'd like to be around 205...seems too hard for me to drop down as fast as some of you are saying. i'm going to stop with the weights and go straight cardio....diet is pretty good nowadays: salads and tuna fish, and low carb meals. slow metabolism for the short stocky dudes

Trying to put weight back on lost from the flu diet too. 176 to 165. Back to 170!!!! Trying to lose the weight arounf the mid and put weight were it counts!

well it looks like im not alone here lol, i need to loose 8 pounds and it seems to be comming off pretty well from watching my calories.. I always gain a little in the winter because all we do is drink beer and eat good food because its to damn cold to get outside in north dakota in the winter:banghead:

Don't drop the weights. You will loose more if you keep lifting, just switch the workouts up every 4 weeks or so.

I had gained 20 lbs since december, from 185 to 205 (I'm 6"3) and been in the gym. I've see the fat start to melt and see the 6 pack come out but ive managed to drop back down to 195 in about the past week and a half. I want to lose body fat % more than the weight. I would be a little better off around 210. Oh well, keep lifting and runnin and we'll see what happens..

Any weight off of you means the bike goes :race: FASTER!!!!! But I like the strength aspect from working out too!!!

Stopped eating red meat and chicken about 5 months ago. It has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Weight is coming off slow, but I here thats a good thing. I only eat fish, vegetable and fruit with an occasional chocolate sweet.
