Anyone try making the stock exhaust pipes black?

Has anyone tried coloring the stock exhaust pipes a different color such as black? I am thinking black chrome , or just flat black would look pretty cool.  Heck, regular black engine paint should work fine on them as the pipes themselves dont get all that hot. And even then some of these paints are good to 1000F.

Id like to see some pics if you got any.

You referring to the mufflers? Search out viol8r on sh.org or labusa.org. He has a blacked out Road warrior style Busa.

Saw one blacked out at the Gap a few weeks ago, looked pretty cool.

Pipes do get very hot.  Hot enough that they can not be powder coated.  Cans are a little dfferent but will get hot on the pipe end.  You need somthing that is high temp at least over 250 degrees.
