Anyone looking for work near Chicago area?

The Lemont, IL Citgo refinery will be running an ad in the Sunday paper. 5/13/07
Job pay is good but crap hours. Will be hiring operators. I wont lie it is hard to get into this place. I had 10yrs exp. and took the second try. But the expirenced operators looking for work have dried up in this area.
They always test around 5-6 hundred for 10-30 positions. We are building a new unit and many units are under staffed. I expect them to hire 15-20 this time.

I've been working in refineries for over 16yrs now. Some of it was in Operations, but spent the last 11 years as an Analyst. I've worked for ConocoPhillips for 15 yrs and the rest has been with the smaller refinery.

I worked at Clark/Premcor for 10 years till the Blue Island plant closed. Been 4 at Citgo. Lemont refinery profited 100+ million last month. Don't ask me, I don't understand myself.
