Observations:
VERY light
Cost takes into consideration the nifty neato electronic suspension adjustment. Push a button and preload and rebound is set for you: Sport, Highway, touring, carrying a pillion.
The motor revs like there is no tomorrow and the stock pipe sounds absolutely amazing
Heated grips
Next generation ABS
Will it 'beat' a 'Busa? Who knows and who cares. It is truly an exotic and all you need to do is go sit on one. They are MUCH more attractive in person than in pictures. To ride that bike to its top speed potential you would need to be on the oval track at Daytona, but you could slap the hell outta that thing at Jennings (if you were the type to take a nearly $20k bike to the track).
Ultimately, all the best any bike can do is exploit the skills of the rider to their maximum. Hardly ANYONE thinks they are reaching the maximum of what their current bike is capable of, be it top speed, corner exit speed, or switchbacks.
BMW's are very friendly bikes and they will exploit your skillset far before you reach the top end of what they are capable of and they are more durable than most marriages.
