Any 600cc riders out there..?

I know this is a Busa page and all, I was just wondering if some of you 600 guys could help me out for a sec. I bought a Y2k R6, and was just wondering on which brand of pipe would be the best for it? It's between Yosh and Two brothers, I want just a slip on... but also want top sound and performance. Can any of you give any suggestions?

Small machine? Performance diapers Dr. Busa? I had a new butt hole ripped for me by a decent rider on an R6 at Mosport this summer.

Dr. Busa I would not call myself fast. I rate myself "fast street." I ride "hotshoe" class on track days. I lap Mosport (a very fast 2 mile track) at 1:41. Current Superbikes lap at 1:30.

Nevertheless, I beat lots of all-out dealership-sponsored weekend litre racers. All of them in fact. Never been passed by one.

The only guys who beat me are instructors, pros building track time (these guys walk past me) and a few track day guys I keep bumping into who can beat me on any bike they choose to ride.

These guys thrash me on Bandits, BMWs, and the most unlikely machines.

As always, it's the rider, not the bike.

Well, of course the busa is no comparrison to the R6 on the track, but as my question still stands, Which pipe should I purchase?

Most R6's at the track run Hindle pipes.They make good power,and are very light,and priced right.I would get a full exhaust over a slip-on.I think hindle can put a slincer in there muffler,and they call it stealth,and it only loses 1/2 hp,and on the street that doesn't mean anything.

If you get a PIPE get an Akropovic. If you get a slip on, which is what you asked about,that is a can only and will increase the power only slightly. D&D makes a nice one as does Yoshimura. I can get that Akrapovic(formally Skorpion) for you, but don't have a price yet. They are the best pipes made. All stainless tubing w/carbon fiber or titanium can. Most HP with no other mods, and won in every class of AMA last year on all out race bikes!!! On all different brand bikes too, find another pipe company that can say that!!
