I love riding this thing! Style, grace, and comfort. I've been reading a ton of threads on here trying to learn as much about my bike as I can. There have been a lot of posts about hot heels from the pipes being so big and close to the rear sets. Here in Dallas traffic you can guess how hot the streets are and I'm beginning to suffer from "hot heels." Isn't there any kind of heat shield to protect my boots? I wear motorcycle boots with thick heels and they still roast my heels. Is there a particular boot sole material that deflects heat better?
