Annoying Issue: Used bikes are too expensive.

I'm kinda half-assed looking for a track bike, and have been thinking about GSXR-600's, ZX6's and SV650's.

I want to be able to pay cash so that I don't have to worry about wrecking a bike I owe money on, but darn...

A used ANYTHING is expensive. I've seen SV650 prices for 3 year old bikes that are crazy high.

Don't get me wrong, I think the SV650 is a great machine... but VALUABLE after 3 years?

I think not...

It'd be nice to get out of the deal with a never-been-wrecked SV650 a few years old for $3000, but I just can't seem to find one.
