Alarm

I have been having some problems with my alarm as water getting to it from time to time when I wash my bike. I did try to seal the unit but it is not 100% proof, I had it installed near the rear shock absorber and I guess maybe this is not the ideal place.

What is the best location to install the alarm so that you get maximum siren power and yet away from water and tampering?

under gas tank, in front of swing arm mount, behind motor. I have seen some in the tail section on the left(clutch) side.

That is what I did. When I detail the bike I use "Plexus". I don't like blasting the bike with a hose!

I have mine it the rear section on the right. It is not at all visible unless you take the plastic off.

Thanks guys for your feedback I am going to experiment with relocate my alarm to best setup.
