airbox question

Pulled off my airbox today on my '03 to plug up the vaccum nipple on the throttle body (removed pair) and noticed that there was a hole in between the front intakes on the airbox. There was no plug or anything so I looked at a fiche and it shows a cap that goes there. Is this something that was forgotten or was it ditched by Suzuki to give draining of the ram air tubes?

got any pics of the "hole" and where its located? your description is decent but most people want to be sure they are talkin about the correct hole before giving advice.
