There was a bike mag a couple of years ago that tested them at a drag strip. I can't find the article right now, but the result was a 1/4 mi time that was about .1 MPH less with them on than without them.

So basically If you like them, use them. If not, don't.

I ran a set for awhile but decided I didn't like them. I still have them in perfect shape, but I don't know if I still have the extra set of fasteners that they come with.

Mine are from Schnitz - I'd take $50 shipped in the con US.

They are useful at top speeds . After about 140-160 the air goes right by the vents and thats when the scoops are needed . So they do add HP at those speeds or at least keep the HP coming . I think they look okay . I would like to get a Carbon fiber set and see if I can put them on with the ram covers I have on .
