i just recently entered the world of the busa...and i have a question for those who know. Im thinkin bout going 1 down on the front sprocket. now i need to know if the rpm change on a 1 down in front is drastic. i dont want to run the busa at 85-90 with rpms at 8k. now is it better (from an rpm perspective) to go down 1 in the front, or go 1 or 2 up in the rear?

need a little hlp...

thanks

I would go up 2 in the rear... I actually went up 3!
most like the 16/42 combo

Stock is 17/40   16/40 is right in between 17/42 and 17/43

Here is a chart and what they will change RPMs compared to stock

I don't like running a lot of gear myself. Here is a gear calc. that lets you compare.
