60 in upstate ny

cant believe i took my bike out in january.. it was close to 60 here. roads were alittle wet so i didnt go far, i didnt want to get it all dirty to sit for the next 2 or 3 months. anyways just wanted to say how great it was to get back on it.

I hear ya! I took a ride today as well in the balmy 65 degree weather of Northern VA. I got the bike dirty from some road spray, but it was worth it. Got really windy toward the end of the ride when the cold front coming down from the northwest hit the warm air I was riding in.

Well, that would be why I love this state of New Mexico (maybe the only reason I love it) is that we get year round riding out here. Winter you stay out of the Mtns, but the lowland riding is great all year round. Good to hear others getting out in the wind.. nothing clears the head better of all lifes worries.
