2011 Busa blowing fuses when left turn signal or hazards are used. Any ideas?

Hello everyone. I did a rear license plate kit on my bike and cut the plate light off. I taped and cut at diffrent length to ensure they dont ground and I'm getting blown 10amp fuses when I use the left turn signal. Im thinking grounding wire but hoping for something simpler. Any advice will be appreciated

grounded wire, shorted light socket in the light kit(sometimes it happens at the factory since they are machine built)... disconnect the bulb and separate the wiring and try the turn signal if it doesnt pop the fuse then you know its the actual fixture
