Will a 200MM tire keep it's factory aspect ratio when fitted to the Busa's rear stock rim? The reason I ask is because I had a bad experience many years ago with a 180MM tire being fitted to a rim designed for max. 160MM tires only. The tire handled terribly, poised a safety risk because of the handling (Aspect ratio changed because of the narrowness of the rim) What say ye?

I think a couple people here run a 200 rear tire with no problems

also the zx12 runs a 200 rear with a 6" rim just like the busa

200's are fine. The problem only occurs when you go way out of line. Like obviously you wouldn't put a 190 on a rim designed for a 240 or vice versa.

You can mount a 200mm, and it will ride fine but at the cost of handling. If you love corners do a 180/55 or a 190/50. The end profile will be close between the two. It will also change the diameter of the tire making your speedo read a bit lower than before.

here's mine with a 200mm shinko

well im about to put a 200 on it cause thats what i got i bought a while ago in my bedroom its only .98% difference between the two so your speedo's gonna be reading another 1% higher more than stock
