hmmmm i dunno... Ive seen a few ducs run and they always seemed under powered compared to their "paper numbers"

I think the hp ratings for them are not off the rear wheel... all the same .. very impressive numbers Chris, Doyle and I saw an 07 at the Suzuki dealer in Louisville and it was a sano looking piece...

Are they still using the dry clutch setup? I heard a 748 running at the stop like sounded like it was about to rattle apart.

1198cc V-twin ...mmmmmm nice..

Ohlins shocks and Brembo brakes . Carbon mufflers from factory.

For $18K it`s a bargain.

ooops posted the wrong price.....

the price of the "R" model (better sit down guys) is

$39,995 the other price is for the "S" model

Not sure where the $18K came from but this bad boy is $39k+. I am wondering how many races into the season next year Ducati will sandbag with these things until they let Bayliss win a few. I love this bike for what it is but at the same time I hate the fact that it exists because the FIM was bullied into letting them run 1200cc in WSBK next year.
Heres a little more in depth article.

Aside from the GSXR1000 almost all of the competitors will have new machinery next year. Should be a good show!
