I hope Shift S3ctor can add more events next year than what’s on their calendar.

in the 170s. the aero and drag starts becoming a factor towards the end of the run. even with a slippery start, the busa power was strong to the 1/4 mile mark. after that, some of the “gutted” liter bikes would start to reel me in. i did all drag racing and no roll race.

i would need motorwork, shed weight, and some aero mods to get over 200 in 1/2 mile. i saw a TT v10 audi and built gtr hit 200. awd helps plenty on an unpreped surface. i saw a h2 ninja get into the 180s.

Yeah I think it’s always going to be hard to compete with cars. That’s cool that it’s heads up drag racing! If they have another next year I may try to go.

Hahaha Good call out Tuco!! I’m just now seeing this, not sure about 202 for a stock bike in the half mile but 170 is great.

The Gen 3 is geared for 194 at the limiter in top. My gen 3 with TTS supercharger hits the limiter before the 1/2 mile. Have geared it up now, so just waiting on the opportunity.

Shift sector is having one in Texas March 25/26th. I can’t make either most likely but I can’t wait to do a half mile or mile event!!
