(Did someone say speech?)
I just hit my 1000th post on this great meeting place and thought I share a few thoughts along with conveying some thanks. First, I'd like to thank the Captain for hosting this fantastic forum. The culture of this forum creates an environment where complete strangers can meet to share a common passion and in the process develop friendships that flourish. One of those friendships for me is the one I share with Rockadaous. Simply put I just couldn't have met a nicer, friendlier, more giving guy. Rock and I have since participated in more than 8 organized meetings/rides where I have met more fantastic folks like Steveo_1978, Webbashl, Whitele, MCMustang, and many more.

When I had my deer encounter and posted up pics of my gorgeous black beauty dirty and scratched from the wreck I had immediate postings from members across the U.S. offering their words of encouragement and assistance....the majority of them didn't know me from Adam. Hondapwr (Bill) sent an extra stator cover for free just to help out...when is the last time you've heard of that type of generosity? Got a little tear in my eye thinking about it. Anywho, that's enough blubbering for now I suppose. Onward to my 10,000th post, a pink toaster, more get togethers, more rides, and more Hayabusa!!

just saw this. Congrats sean
I've gotta get you to a bash and my mission will be complete. I've also feel the same way. Your the only guy that will ride in the cold, rain, last minute and longest routes with me. Peter you did ride 8 hrs in the rain back from the bash, so I guess that counts to :poke::laugh:

for those who don't know sean he's a great guy to know.
