Yea frankly the dealer here sux-wanted to know if this problem has been seen before and if it can be repaired without going-god forbid-internally. LOL thanks for the welcome
Ok guys here's what the "dealer" says Suzuki says LOL that some(no explanation of what some means) Gen II busa cases were over-bored out of spec in the counter balance shaft opening- the fix???????? new cases so picked the bike up from the dealer, pulled the balance shaft out just enough to replace the o'ring with a slightly oversize viton o'ring from the local hydraulic shop. Hasn't leaked yet. Wonder why Suzuki says new cases when an ovesize o'ring seems to stop the leak??????? Hope the cases don't have other machining issues as well.
Dude, no disrespect meant to anyone but most dealer's mechanics replacing the cases on a low mileage new pristine 09?-ugh! no thanks if I can avoid it.
