About 10,000 Busa's were sold in 2006, about 100,000 busa in USA to date. Motorcycle USA reports 10,000 in 2006

Assume that less than 1/3rd was LE, so I guess about 3k 2006 LE in USA. Add in CA, UK and other countries for another 500 or so.

That helmet was $575.00 when the guy in the nieghborhood next to me got his.(that's why I don't have 1) They are nice !! I saw a white Scorpion a while back that looked good also, for like 240.00

When we bought ours, our dealer whom is a very large one (shipping overseas etc.) had only one, and had to locate and ship from another dealer mine.. They told me Suzuki only wanted to let dealers have one. To have 2 and to ride down the road together makes enough of a unique statement.

No problem. Hopefully I'll get mine ordered next weekend or so. I'm gettin some lowering links this weekend, and maybe an LED tail light with integrated signals. But I really need some gear. Right now all I have is a helmet. But I don't have the money for gear yet. Hopefully next week will be a good week here at the shop and I can turn enough hours to be able to afford that jacket!

Funny because all my accessories were brand new that the owner ended up not getting the bike after buying the helmet and jackets. Ended up selling them on Ebay. The helmet I got first, then 2 or 3 months got the mesh jacket and about 1 year later got the leather jacket. I recently seen a helmet on Ebay it was a medium that went for $690 just give you an idea of how much in demand these helmet are. Seen an XL helmet go for $740.
So if ever your 06LE is ever for sale and you have the helmet and both jackets that's damn near $2 Grand added to the price.

Aren't we the ones to envy for jumping on the 06LE bandwagon and it's worth more than the 08's.

When I was looking for the 06 LE most of the dealers only got 1 or 2 06 LE's, and I called pretty much every dealer in Louisiana, Mississippi area, not to sure on other states. I did get to meet with some other BUSA riders that wanted the 06 LE and none were left to buy. I got lucky I guess, and found one still in the crate paid $10,130 out the door w/HJC flip up helmet and Joe Rocket 4.0 jacket. I wanted the 06 LE because of the visability from a cagers perspective... Don't know how true but I heard from more than a couple of dealers say they made 500 06 LE's....

Hell, last May 5th I had a limited edition white, white busa jacket, daylight, white helmet, daylight.....and still got rear ended by a woman that was talking on her phone with no car insurance. She also caused a tore of my left leg ACL on knee. So after I got my blood money from insurance company I went and bought me a ALL BLACK BUSA.....hell if they are going to hit you with a white bike, I might as well get me a black bike.....since it does not matter now days of the color.

The jackets aren't hard to come by, but that freakin helmet is.

There has been talk of a possible white 08 offered in europe this year. Maybe the helmet will spring up again.
