It's a 92 Suzuki GN125. The last time this bike ran was in 95 and it only has 800 miles on it. Besides the new battery, spark plug, oil and filters, derusting the tank, carb and fuel petcock was most of the work.

That's a good trick! Didn't think you would get it clean.

Worked as well on carb and petcock parts which were clogged, will be using it on the chain when time comes.

after using rusteco. The trick is washing your parts real well so as not to contaminate the rusteco helping it work better and being able to reuse it.

When your friend fuel filter cloggs up a few months later, he will have that exact same expression on his face you posted.

Already know about sealers and wouldn't trust anything for a gas tank even this shid thats suppose to be tested to work.

I would suggest if he is going to keep it to try and find a plastic gas tank fabricator online, a used tank with no rust or new replacement metal gas tank.

Nah Dawg, I just dont want to see back complaining of a clogged fuel filter by fixing your problem with a Band Aid.  I didn't mean to pee into your bowl of corn flakes, just try'n to help.
