Should I Sell or Go to the Dump?

Hey fellow Speed Freaks,

I was wondering if I could get your input as what to do with my old "04" black and purple parts? I have a number used of plastics, wheels, gas tank, mirrors, pipes, etc. which maybe slightly dinged but are in good shape. To take the time to photo all these parts, list them, communicate back and forth, pack them, deal with the payment process would be very time consuming. On the other hand, these parts are fully functional it seems like a complete waste to throw the out at the dump? I know that it would be good to post pictures of the parts and maybe I will if there is any interest. What do you think I should do? Sell or Dump? If I did sell I would be looking to pay myself for the time it takes to do it, plus a little more to buy me a Mc Donald's meal. Which is actually ridiculously expensive now! Sorry for the digression.

If you were closer I’d put some cash in your hand.

I’m not a fan of Chinese bodywork and collect all 3 Gen’s panels.
I like having a spare set to mod or to paint, I look out for bikes that need new plastics, I just like having spares. I have a lot of screen, cans and other parts boxed up too.

I can’t remember the last day I didn’t check the sales ads on marketplace, or the local owners groups.

That purple is more rare and sought after than you think.
Definately don't scrap them.

Someone will most definitely want that and it will be worth it to you and them to sell it off.....

I'd say sell them. Old parts become rare and someone somewhere would need them eventually.

They are marked up and holes cut for sliders. You can zoom in to evaluate. Had a time with the glare.

The only sad part is that video doesn't give a good perspective of just how ridiculously fast that really is.
It would be great to see side by side runs vs a piped and tuned Busa, and to watch you walk away, as well as couple still positions on the side.
Regardless, that's awesome.
I've done mid 180's countless times, and my best of 197 felt so much faster...I can only imagine what another 30mph feels like.
I'de like to know how many guys have really gone that fast...you have to be on a short list.

I agree, there sure isn't any perception of speed except those exes on the ground going by in a flash..............but the sound is intoxicating.......

Kind of like when you are flying and coming for a landing when you pass a few stationary objects whipping by on the ground.....
