QUICK HELP have tank apart

I have the tank off right now about to start the cleaning process to remove rust
I am wanted to remove the 'petcock' and fuel filter but i can not see where they are
I am running a filter after the tank.
the pics attached is the fuel pump from my 2003 bike.
are the parts i am looking for inside the pump??

i have to reuse the STRAINER so i will cut
at the mesh a lil just to get enough give so i can
pull it off and clean

IM VERY SUPRISED MY BIKE RAN AT ALLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My bike currently would not go over 120mph, cut out at higher RPM
unbelievable

Ok I got her back together
i had to skip the process of POR15 paint
because its my only ride and can't have 96hrs
to cure.

but anyways when i put in gas, it comes out one
of the rubber tube venting to the atmosphere
behind the clutch casing

WHY IS THIS?
 
awww wtf is with the hi temp sealant... if that is still on there, you may as well take the thing back apart.... you can NOT use RTV of ANY KIND...

and if you did not seal the tank, you are going to have a repeat anyway...

RTV does not hold up to gasaline, the stock gasket would be worth getting after all you're hard labor cleaning it all up, hope it turns out.
