GENII Nose assembly hard time

Hi all, I tried to do some repairs in my Hayabusa 2012 and removed all fairings. Now I am facing the issue of not being able to put the nose back into the frame. I have been looking for tutorial videos on how to put the nose back in the bike, but I only found videos on the side fairings which I can do. I would appreciate if someone could provide me any info, link, manual, video on how to put the nose back into the bike. Thank you

You just have to make sure that you push it on straight. You have to line up the air ducts and the pins that go into the rubber grommets behind your gauges. All four points have to line up at the same time. Then it is just a matter of pushing the pins into the grommets.

Try downloading the service manual and following that. It has pics, but it goes in order and is very helpful. Go to the main page here I believe.

Thank you very much! This really help me a lot. I cant believe that there is not a video tutorial in youtube, I couldn't find one, in how to remove and put the nose back. Thanks everyone for the advices.

Yep, like Lodi said, after 4 yr they may have got this sorted...

But you have the same problem so it is very understandable why you were looking for this info.

I don't have the info you seek, but someone might. Make sure to check You Tube and type in Gen 2 fairing removal and installation.

Anybody know what all entails to completely replace a Gen II left side fairing(or "cowling" as they call it)?Was viewing diagrams and looks like there are numerous pieces(not counting foam pads,heat shields,etc.)that make up a side fairing but damned if I can sort it all out.Adjuster is coming...
