Great news. Got my riser from genmar. Its the 1.25 inch version. What a god send. Its great. Took all the pressure off my shoulders and upper back. Those guys were great. It only took about 4 days to get it. Its the best $160 I think I could have spent. I put it on myself and it only took about 45 minutes. Didnt have to replace any cables or anything. The only thing I had to do is adjust the brake cable. Thats it. I road for about 2hrs after I put it on and it was heaven. If anyone is feeling a pinch in there shoulders cause of the riding position I recomend getting this thing. THey also have a .75inch version. Its a solid piece of aluminum. Well made. Good contruction.

I have the same on my '04 Busa. I also have the HeliBars so I had to trim the windshield, but it transformed the bike. Love it.

I saw a '17 or '18 zx14 on CL last week(gunmetal gray, beautiful color).
Anyway, it had some mods, including Converti-bars.
They adjust up/down and turn.
The seller and his tires looked the business, and said he keeps the bars low for hard riding, and raises them up for touring.
They looked like they worked really good for either, and the windshield did not need modified in any way.
Yes...I've been looking at zx14's too.
I just Hate abs on a bike.

I think the ABS on the Kaws is defeatable....I do know that the stock Nissins are worlds better than the Brembos on the Gen 2.

Cool, thanks, I'll have to dig a little deeper.
That 14 had some nice mods, low miles, and was $10,500 obo.
I love non abs gsxr1k's, but with the hp a gen2 14 can make, and the wife and I would be more comfortable, it's at least got my attention.
I sat on a new 14 when their gen2 came out(at the dealer), and was on my tip toes, vs flat foot with a bent knee on my gen2 Busa.
The 14 had the long tank feel I gripe about on the Busa, so I'de have to ride one to be sure.
Let me see if that 14 is still on CL and if so I'll link it here.

My buddy has a 2014, no abs. He said the ABS was a $500 option. I don't know if it became standard on later years, but you can look. Like mentioned in another thread it has a Leo Vinci system, other than that it's bone stock. Made 208/124 at the wheel on pump gas with nothing more than a tune.
