They were saying it was / is one of the hardest on brakes , so the soft tire certainly was a gamble on it lasting that distance . Even presuming a walk away from everyone from the start and no harassment throughout the race , you would have to think it a massive risk .

Great race, Marquez victory celebration notwithstanding. Maybe I am just showing my age.
Rins was the surprise of this one for me. I think he may have used up too much tire battling with rossi and Iannone early on. Just a matter of time before he wins one on the Suzuki, looking forward to it. And Suzuki is doing it without any concessions, so that bodes well for the Big S. Now if we can get Lorenzo healthy by Valencia is a 4 or 5 rider battle in the works for the final race? Pedrosas win streak is in jeopardy at the moment, but he always runs well at Valencia so there will be several riders trying to make a statement on the way out the door.

I haven't watched the after race podium footage , I stopped after the race was won . What did MM do , maybe I should have a look !
He said he did it hugging Scott Redding on the cool down lap! Sounds like he might need surgery in the offseason.

Wow the full on Ducati shuffle! Jones on Abraham's 2016 bike, Abraham on Rabat 2017 bike and Bautista on Lorenzo's 2018. Who's riding bautistas bike?
Jordie Torres is on Titos bike, Abraham on Bautistas bike .
