Hi everyone,

First time posting on these forums, any help will be greatly appreciated. I just bought my K8 about a month ago and stretched it 6 over and lowered around 3 front and rear the next day (Thanks UPS). Went to get the wife on the back and had the rear tail light and 2 mounting bolts hitting the tire at every little bump in the rode.

I think air ride is going to be my best option. I want it slammed when its parked and as low as i can get away with whether it's just me riding and/or with a passenger.

I'm looking for advice on which setup will best suit my needs and wants, prices, brands, what to look for and what to stay away from.

Thanks alot in advance!!

I am not familiar with the specifics of any of the offered air ride systems, but let me be the first to say :welcome:

At least you lucked out and got the best color!

I'm also more than happy to hear your guys thoughts on some other upgrades, mostly cosmetic wise that would make the bike pop even more. Maybe things you've seen on other bikes that you think might look good on this color scheme.

I'd love a big tire kit but that's some serious cash!

welcome. not really an upgrade but maybe look into getting frame sliders. other mods I can recommend: HIDs, switchbacks, chrome fairing screens, frame plugs, a/m levers, s/s braided lines.

:welcome: to the org. I went with the Dapincci which has to chambers. One for comfort and the other for your up and down. I got mine from spinwurkz for less than a thousand and it's chrome. I looked around before purchasing and that was the cheapest I found it.

Thanks for the info corey, looks like a nice set, I like your bike to btw (nice color) lol. Does it come with guages or anything, is there just a toggle switch that comes with the kit that raises and lowers it?

Also what is the difference and pros/cons of the systems that label themselves as air springs and not air shock/cylinder or whatever it is.

How much did it cost to get it installed? I live in Cincinnati and don't know of any speed shops around me

Thanks again :beerchug:

You see those 2 stickers on the frame right in front of your little girls right knee? And the one on the other side? You will be amazed at the difference if you remove them but be warned...you will probably cuss the whole time your picking them off. I got my frame plugs here Lawst Caws, Frame Plugs, Helmet Lites, Helmet lights, Lost cause, lost caws. Something as simple as taking the curb feeler off of the front pegs make a visual difference. Oh! :welcome: to the Org!

:welcome: to the .org. The best thing to do would probably be to do a search for air ride systems. Tons of info to find here. Good looking bike too
