check into the tax laws you'll find you have to be out of the U.S. for 330 days of the year and only the first $91,000 is tax free anything over that you pay taxes on. living conditiions aren't the greatest most U.S. contractrs are living in 32 man (bunk beds) airconditioned tents. the summer was Africa hot and it is SUPER DUSTY. foods ok very bland but its free so is laundry but it's not very clean. as for security this base has about 20,000 people on it lots of army. we do get rocket attacks about every other night and have had a couple small ground attacks at the fence. 2 nights ago a rocket hit 10 yards outside our hanger damaging 2 aircraft and 2 minor injuries. it's different than being in the states and is not for everyone. we have had 1 person decide to leave after our bigger attack, found out this wasn't for them.
yea man, for 400k a year, you bet your kiester i'd be there in a second.
