I'm not bashing Pitts, again, it's the owners whoe are the ****heads that train the dogs to be bad. I'm just saying that I don't think you could even train a Lab or Golden to be mean. Maybe you could, I dunno. They dont even seem to have the potential to be mean. It's not in their nature. Maybe this is just me, but I would walk up to anyone walking a Lab or Golden and reach out to pet the dog without even thinking about being bit. I wouldn't do that with a Pitt. Of course I wouldn't do that with a Rottie or Doberman either. Maybe I'm just partial to Labs and Goldens.

To each his own. And thats totally OK. My girlfriend has a 100 lb Golden Named Payton and he is wonderful! I had two goldens growing up and they were excellent as well. My one golden just did not like bikes and if a kid rode down the road on a bike, Koko was through the screen door chasing him down the road trying to eat the tires. It wasn't an attack on the kid by any means...just his bike

I won't walk up to ANY dog and reach out to pet without asking permission first. I would feel terrible if I got bit because I messed up and now the owner is in a bad spot. My pits would let anyone walk through my front door and they would be the first to greet them and jump in their laps for kisses and to be pet.

About a year ago I had a customer who was an old man end up losing both of his legs from a pitbull attack. My neighbor's pit is always trying to dig under the wooden fence anytime he senses someone is in the backyard. But of course the majority of people around here train their dog to fight, or be aggressive for w/e reason. Some people even tie weights to their dogs Not saying pits are bad but, I have yet to come across a nice one. I especially love when people have the nerve to let them loose :wtf: Anyone whose familiar with the sanford / deltona area would understand what I'm talking about.

If you have pitbulls in your erea you should carry mace+ a deer gutting knife.

if one bites dont try pull dogs good @ tugwar thats playing into there hand you gotta push hand farther down there throat they will gag+ release but then will come again.Thats were a razor sharp deer gutting knife comes in real handy.I hope guy rthat owned ones mauled that poor old lady gets major time in the pen.+ I dont mean dog pen !!!!

We dont blame the media for anything, we are simply pointing out that they are not fair when it comes to them. As stated before, any other type of dog bites someone, not covered...a pit does it, the next thing you know its like their on a which hunt, its sad really...:11zpissed:

The dog gets out and attacks the first person it sees. WOULDN'T YOU DO THE SAME? I would. I would tear apart every human I could get my mouth on. The reason we are talking about Pit bulls are because they are pound for pound the most athletic, powerful, quick, etc. dog on the planet. So naturally, they're going to be the weapon of choice by these losers.

ill put it this way, say your name was john. Ok john raped and killed a woman. So evrytime the news came on the media decided to call every rapest and murder by the name john. After hearing john did this and john did that everytime you turn on the news after a while i bet you would think thats bull****, my name is john but im not a bad guy, why do they call all the terrible people john??.. well its the same with the pitbull, the media call most dogs that attack a pitbull. pitbull is not a general term for dogs , pitbull terrier is a breed. but the media calls any dog they want a pitbull...

yes, the dogs are created by its owners.....but to ignore that dogs inherit traits from thier parents is idiotic. that is why you pay more for a dog with a certified blood line.

i paid top dollar for my dogs, and could trace thier line back to the ealy 1900's....and they did things i never trained them to do.

part of the problem is you have aggressive dogs, that are bred with other of questionable lineage, to produce more aggressive dogs. especially in certain parts of the country where an aggressive dog can earn its owner some money, notoriety and fame....

the pit is #16, but the test is a trick. the pictures are all scaled to look the same size, and to hide telltale features.....but those breeds are not same size, and the pics are taken from angle that do not show the differences of the breeds.
