Anyone have experience with these? Im thinking of removing the blinkers and going with the integrated w/ built in signals. I see some on ebay that look good 50-$100 or so. Any suggestions????

the Clear Alternatives integrated tail works well. I had one in my '05 katana. It was the same board as used in the busa and it was great. Since i've gotten into LEDs tho I make my own stuff

I got a clear modified kit. The light is better directed by the lens. I also added accessory LED turn signals under the tail. Very easy to do, need help let me know.

Dan, I can source either of those if you decide to go with it.

The integrated taillight (pictured above) from Clear Alternatives is a direct replacement for the stock tail lamp on the busa and you can toss the turn signals as those are built inside the lens itself. Buy now for that is Here.

The Hot Bodies undertail you mention are located here (You have GeniI or Gen-II?) if you opt to go that route.

As for install, I thought it was easy, at least on mine. Once you remove the rear fender and rear taillamp, pretty simple to slide in the new undertail. Once you go to an undertail, you'll never look back. Really cleans up the lines of the bike. Huggers are optional. I used to have one, and nowadays travel without it.

I have those too. Another low-cost mod for increased visibility.

These are Hyper-Lites: Hyperlites.com I have mine wired into the brake lights, so when you hit the brakes, they flash really rapidly. Since I've got dual bulbs, also have the Signal Dynamics Wig-Wag module wired in there too. The brakes pulsate back and forth when I hit the brakes. The Buy Now for the Wig-Wag Module is here.

Lot of ideas. :cheerleader:

Whoa, Whoa, pashnit. Do you have a video of your setup at work?

Do you have the part # you ordered from the website?

How did you wire it up?

That setup is awesome and the answer to my prayers.

make sure integration is legal in your state, some places require the turn signals.

Cobra- which part? (we're talkin' about a lot of stuff here).

If you're referencing shooting video off the bike, I wrote up a long-winded article linked below about setting the Hayabusa up as a video platform. This centers around the SportBikeCam Mount which I've used for several years.

I'm talking about the signals. It looks like they have just brakes, signal, and a huge unit that does both. You said you have brake lights wired up as both? Which part number did you buy???

i got the hot bodies undertail installed last year had to trim the piece they sent it was about 6 inches to long.... and ten the lights just seemed to dim so i added some led strips down the sides of the undertail for more eye catching for the brake light only... i dont have to look over my shoulder when braking everytime.... overall i love it now looks sweet

Cobra, this undertail by Moto-Tek is no longer available as far as I know, although the Hot Bodies SBK2 one is strikingly similar. The one I have does have LED turn signals built into it, so the tail lamps on the bike are just that - only tail lamps.

Here's the pics of when I got it.

The Hyperlites.com I've wired into the brake light wire. However, you could wire them into anything, they pretty simple item. They are sold as brake lights & have several variations. Again- great low cost mod for increased visibility.

The billet aluminum brake lights were sourced off this forum about 6 yrs ago and ran the former owner $200 just for the the brake lights.

If you translate the pics above into what's available today, the undertail most similar to mine would be the Hot Bodies SBK2 which you can buy here.

The Hot Bodies Undertail has the brake lights & turn signals also wired into the twin-taillamps. So you don't have the underside location of the turn signals like I've got.

You could source a set of Hyper-Lites from their website - click for that link.

If you wanted to wire in a Wig Wag Module like I've got, the Buy Now is here.

Install Pics of the Wig-Wag Module on the Busa are here. - Click for Link
