Attempting an HID projector retrofit

Don't know what the heck I'm doing but decided to give it a try anyway...wish me luck. lease:

First time I've ever taken the fairings and nose off my Busa. Might as well change the oil and filter.

I won't be finish until sometime tomorrow....I hope.

Ugh may I bring my headlight over when you are done with yours. This is a mod that I have always wanted.

Some of the HIDs do not fit flush in the low beam,, Hard to adjust,,, have to shave a little plastic off..

Yea I noticed that too so I had to notch a couple of places on the floor of the low beam reflector so it could sit flush, thanks Mike.

Wasn't somebody making a whole "conversion kit" here on the oRg? I remember it was a little spendy (like $500), but it was basically a bolt up and got all the alignments right.

Yeah, I thought it was Ogre, but I couldn't find the post with the picture of all the parts he did up custom for this. I remember it was real engineering.

I used Sportbike Stage III Kit - Complete Retrofit Kits from The Retrofit Source Inc with the ocular shroud

Didn't really have much time today because my dremel broke, little sick today, physical therapy and dentist appointment. I did get the bottom halo on.
