Brother,
Listen, I am sort of a expert of this subject. What you want is to get this
http://www.motorola.com/motoinf....tId=177 which is the Motorola S9 headset that is bluetooth (It is a behind the neck headset and works great for helmets). Than get this
http://store.kyocera-wireless.com/product_detail.aspx?productID=5065 Bluetooth® Black 3.5mm Audio Adapter. What you do is either get a headjack extension from radioshack and run the cable all the way to your storage department or simply plug the audio adapter into the radar detector. Than you can listen to radar detector from under your helmet wirelessly. It works perfect even under extreme speeds. I can hear it going off easly. It is cheap and inexpensive. Why I suggest to run the cable from the front where you hookup your radar detector is because this way if it rains accidentally it is protected. Now only do I have this setup, I also have Laser Jammer installed on the front of my bike. So when the po po hits me with the laser, the radar detector will go off as well and than I can hear it. Also this setup works great for MP3's ......but it is either MP3's or radar detector....not both....still trying find a bluetooth headset like this one that can listen to "simutaneous" from different devices....than I would be set. Trust me it works great. If you don't get a Laser Jammer like this
http://www.overstock.com/Electro....0788103 M25 Laser Jammer....than you aren't safe...the po po will still get you.....
