Yoshi R77 question

For those of us running R77 slip ons, is everyone pulling off the factory compression gasket where the slip on meets the header right after the cat? Trying to figure out if it's on all the way.

That's what I was thinking but wasnt sure. I can see on the mufflers where the sun didnt touch what was under the strap from the previous owner. I'll work on that tonight while I'm waxing it here at work.

I hear ya.... the busa IS FAST.... what started me on alllll my hot rodding adventures has ALWAYS been getting outrun by somebody else though.... that's how it starts.... these 2am highway pulls.

I am getting a new header and having Frank work his sorcery on my ECU. Beyond that, its fantastic the way it is performance wise. Next project will be full brake system upgrade and then the body work.

Pulled the gaskets out and reinstalled them and everything works great.
