Yellow bulb in high beam

I remember Icemann had some nice yellow bulbs at one time, but from what I've read I'm not sure he still has a source.

Since it's not uncommon for me to get caught in the rain at night I am thinking about putting a yellow bulb in to see if it helps with visibility. I haven't been riding with my HID low beam yet and the thought of it possibly whiting out the road in the rain is not a great comfort.

Those of you that run the yellows, do you see a difference in the fog or rain?

Can I go with a bulb like this one?

What do I need to do to be sure I don't get something too hot that might damage my lens?

I have the yellow in my highbeam and it cuts right through the HID and works great in the fog. Haven't been caught in the rain at night yet.

I bought my yellow bulb from Autolumination

I have the yellow bulb from JD and it isn't great for night visibility. A white beam is best.
