Yeah, the '11 Busa options are oh-hum, but....

Woot 50yr celebration is going to land people stickers! Big time collector item for sure.

"We suppose the mere presence of models marked "2011" is a small positive
sign, at least indicating that dealer stocks of identical 2008 and 2009 model
year bikes have been depleted to the point where new models can be
introduced. Still, with no major upgrades, bikes like the
2011 'Busa are going to face stiff competition not only from competing
brands,
but from heavily discounted unsold bikes from previous
model years and low-mileage used bikes that buyers who can no longer
afford the finance payments are flooding the market with."

Like I said, Zuk managment SUX.

The worst thing you can do in a competitive market (almost sealing your fate)
is to stop innovating. Had they, for example, pulled out the stops and made
the Gen II the best they could have, ala 200hp 1400+cc machine with real
traction control (not that stupid A,B,C, mode)...they wouldn't be selling any
ZX-14s thus Zuk would get a much larger market share. (etc., etc.,)

Meanwhile other companies like Kawasaki improve on their Concours, offer a new
Z-1000, new Vulcan Cruiser line...BMW a new 1000rr packed with power and
technology...Honda, a brand new 1200VFR with standard and AUTOMATIC transmission
etc

And after a year off, Zuk gives BNG (Bold New Graphics) yet again.

The odd thing is that people expected anything different ??? After a decade of
nothing but, people expect that Zuk NOW begins to update the Bus on a regular
basis

The first 50 will get a sticker? They cant be serious, can they? What must that have cost, $100? They charge $4 for a bolt but cant even celebrate their 50th? Im disappointed....

BTW-Know it doesn't mean a whole lot but....

Just got my 2 new issues of CycleWorld and MotorCyclist, both magazines
did their top 10 bikes of the year...Suzuki won nothing out of both issues

Just saying, that's my point. Build the best and incredible machines with innovation
and SALES WILL TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES.

Stand pat for to long and you fade into irrelevance and oblivion.

To bad neither mag has a "Bold New Graphics" catagory....

i want a sticker:whistle:
wish they would just shut up the "other guys" in the high hp comp. by putting out a factory turbo Hayabusa with some options like a true traction control and maybe a tour package. i would have gladly paid a few thousand more:laugh: just sayin.

i do like the "fast" kanji .
