It boggles my mind that these media tycoons can't understand why they're having difficulty. Why pay for a physical newspaper when you can find the same information online in an instant. I can go to Google and find news about any subject up to the minute.
So why are they pursuing pay for play services when they should be trying to garner lucrative advertising contracts instead? Isn't that what has traditionally been the driving force behind television news? Why are newspapers exempt from that model?
This will not end well for them.
