Worlds fastest Busa Crashes!

The Ack Attack Streamliner (with twin Hayabusa Turbo power) with Rocky Robinson at the controls crashed out of the Bub Speed Trials yesterday at Bonneville at around 300mph.

Here is an earlier video of it crashing unsure of the date.

I watched a show on discovery HD the other day about this guy and his team as well as 2 other teams trying to set a new record. I believe it was from last year... they broke a 16 year old land speed record... i believe it was like 254 mph! Wonder what they are going to hit this year.

In a strange twist they may even end up with the top prize money for the fastest run of the meet! Not a bad way to finish. $10k probably won't go far towards fixing that thing though.

on the other hand, i'm bummed i missed seeing it happen by only 1 day...i rode out there Sunday (9/2) while the rest of the guys were running the half track at MMP
