communication, it houses field radios and encryption equipment. It's basicly a portable telephone station with secure communication capability.

Samsung Digimax S500, got on sale at wally world for $119.00 and added a 1GB card. It's not the best but the price was right and it is good enough to get me started.

yep, got to admit that would drive me nuts. It's bad enough building boring stuff but not using my "hands" would drive me crazy!!

I would share pics of what I do here at my place of emplyment, but I can't take a camera in here...
Desciption: two computer boxes, 4 monitors, 3 telephones, large quanities of coffee and the ability to multitask when necessary and not fall asleep if you aren't multitasking.

I operate 77 process tools in a fab, from a central/remote location outside the fab. No windows, two doors, and a heating/cooling system that can't make up its mind.

thanks for sharing the pics. comm shelters... I take it that you install all electronics in them as well? is it a start to finish type thing? are you looking for employees with military background, aircraft maintanance experience, and high vacuum component experience?

yep we do it all, we buy the box and build everything else to house and connect the equipment, evan paint them.

I am the military background, aircraft maintanance experience guy, so no you cant have my job!! besides one slacker is enough around here

Cool man. I spent 8 years in the military working on those type of shelters. The MSE equipment was housed then them (the shelters) and well I went in and fixed it. Cool pics. I sit behind a computer all night. Wish I had more hands on than I do. It gets boring here alot.
