I am looking a buying a 'busa but I have some concerns about whether I should buy a used '99 or a new or used '00. Is the '99 the first model year and did they take care of any problems? Does the 2000 have all the bugs worked out if any? And my biggest question is.... which holds the top speed record the '99 or '00. Have the 2000 already been neutered by the European voluntary speed restriction? If I am buying the fastest production bike built I want the fastest not that it used to be the fastest. While I personally would never do 194 it's nice to know the bike is capable of it. Whatever input you could give me would be greatly appreciated as I am looking to buy soon and If the bike doesn't perform like it debuted ala ZX12, I'll end up buying a little more exotic ie: Aprilia RSV Mille R.
