Where's the frame slider "step-by-step"

Yes, I did the search....looked for over an hour now.

I remember someone who cut an 8mm allen key and used that to mark the hole.....

Wheres the thread?

this is not it but it sounds like it would work just fine  


but this is how I did it.....I just uesd a dab of grease, I backed the blot out till it hit the fairing and then put the grease on the bolt head put the fairing back on (which marked it with the grease) took it off  and drilled a small hole then cut it out with a hole saw

NO!

The tiny 8mm bolt that no drill sliders use will not hold up if the bike fell over. Drilled frame sliders use the thick bolts that hold the engine in the frame.

Look for the frame slider post by Thunderpants. He cut off a sharpie and used it to mark where the hole should be drilled.
