When is it too cold to ride?

Below 30 is getting real cold. Normally doesn't get that cold here. But every direction is mountains so when you ride, you're always going up and over.
Always cold at the top.

Hairiest was probably this. Coming home from long, cold ride... My house was just around the corner.

THAT'S impressive. Got caught in a freak summer snow storm between Aspen and Boulder and froze nearly to death (exaggerating) but it was a true ordeal. Thanks for your photo; Didn't realize it could be done.

Yeah that's the same thing I was thinking. I remember back when I was a kid we would take our dirt bikes and trikes out in the snow and ride around the neighborhood. It was hard to keep them upright and that was with knobbie tires

I'd say 40's without heated gear. Rode today and it was 30 F. Just too cold for a 30 min ride. The humity in LA is horrible.
