mine wheelies just fine, & yes the busa is a bit heavier & takes a bit more to control, but it's fun to ride the back wheel on the mighty busa. I admit having 16/43 gearing makes it a bit easier.

enuf thread-jackn tho-dude, if you wanna wheelie your Busa, and you've only had it a few months, and ridden 2200 miles??? man, I've had mine 2 YEARS, put on OVER 10,000 miles, and I did a wheelie by accident...now my Busa looks like this-

think about this pic, then decide if getn your front wheel up is worth the risk, and the financial loss-not to mention physical.

Plus you buy a sportbike to wheelie, impress chicks, go triple digit speeds, and break all sorts of laws.
With statements like this I must say you are an IDIOT.

-To wheelie?  So you purchased a Busa to wheelie?

-Impress chicks?  This is your hope for getting laid?...Good luck w/ that.

-Go triple didgit speeds?  I'll give you that going 100+ is much more fun on a bike but my car does 100+ easy as well.

-Break all sorts of laws?!!!  If you bought a bike to do this then you are the kind of squidistic moron that gives us all a bad name...thanks a lot you moron.
I agree with OE.

Not me, I'm already married so the chick factor is out the window. Not really intersted in breaking all kinds of laws. Besides I bought my bike for the awesome gas mileage, my wife picked out the Busa I was gonna settle for an R1.

I think you guys have missed the point of the original question. It is not to wheely or not to wheely, the major sticking point is he only has 2000 miles riding experience. 2000 miles shouldn't even be in the same sentence with experience. If you encourage him to do wheelies withh only 2000 miles of riding and on a Busa, then you don't need me to tell you what you are.

Like I said earlier put me at the top for leftover spare parts.

why does anybody use their bike to impress chix??? its nice if you meet a girl n she happens to like bikes n everything, then fine take her ridin with ya, dont thro her on the curb n say "hey watch this, i'm really good at it" unless you're on an abandoned road...and then I still wouldn't pull one-just too expensive.

for folks here that dont know me- I ride with a group of guys 6-8 years younger than me, they all have a year or two of riding exp, but they all do wheelies, endos, rolln burnouts, etc...one guy is on his 3rd rear already this season. Out of 7 guys, only 3 haven't dumped their bikes this year...most of the accidents were from doing stunts, although one goof actually tried to jump on his bike to flee from po-pos...and got tasered, so he fell over and bike landed on him. Point being, I see on a regular basis what can happen when you land wheelies right-u get a cupped fron tire, rattling plastics, loose elec. connectors, beat-up front forks, and oh yeah-sum girl who is NOT going to nail u goes "wwooo hooo" and giggles when u go by...sounds like a good deal, if you have $$ to pi55 away and dont care how many times you break your bike.

Me, I use this machine for the purpose it was originally built for- rediculous straight-line speed, at a drag strip; and some nice touring...at least I did till I threw my girl off the back-and yeah, she fell off during a WHEELIE!

have 2006 busa with tre, yoshi exhaust, and 2200 miles of riding experiance, all in 3 months now its time to do what its made for funnnn   fffffuuuunnnnn
first of all, you not going to get a friendly post in here...most of us in here, been there and done that long time ago...more like 10 or 20 years ago...
and if you want to willies and stuff, you can always buy a stunt CD in anywhere...plus, none of the members going to tell you to do any stunt, is not recomended...I haven't seen one trick bike made out of a busa...cuz it has just too much power and its not easy to control...
sad.gif
that's funny, have you ever heard of Ghostrider and his 500+ HP turbo busa streetfighter? He does 220mph plus wheelies.
Have I ever heard of him? yes I saw it on the video clip...and?
rock.gif
Hydra, don't be surprised if your point is misconstrued.  I know what you meant.  I guess all of a sudden everyone thinks they're Ghostrider.

Any pro stunter/wheelie king uses a 600cc bikes not Busas.  Hmmm...I wonder why?
Thanks, Over easy...it is not worth any more words in here...

Too the poor sob who started this thread...take heart man..as chances are your going to learn more about "asking questions on the internet" than hoisting wheelies on your busa...but there's some things to keep in mind as you review the many and varied responses....

Thing #1: Not everyone who bought a busa can use a busa.

Thing #2: If your still confused?...see thing #1
