I would be more concerned about how it was treated then the mi. A bike with 10k mi. could be in worse shape than one with 45k mi.

Why wouldn't a well maintained, properly serviced 1300cc 'Busa run equally as well?

I haven't seen a KIA motor turn 11,000 RPM. Not quite apples to apples.

Just sold my TL1000R and looking for a used busa.  Found a great deal on a 2000, but it has 47k?  Is this just too many miles?

My purchase limit, mileage wise, is the high teens....maybe 20K for the right bike. No need to go any higher, for the same or slightly more money than your willing to spend now you could get a busa with half that mileage or less. Bikes aren't like cars, most bikes don't get ridden much for their age. Low mileage bikes are a dime a dozen. Shop around

I actually enjoy the shopping almost as much as the riding
