What would it take to run 8.5 or less in the 1/4

Whats the best way to go to run a 8.5 or better in the 1/4 id love to run a 7.9 but i think the cost may go through the roof i was thinking starting with a velosity racing stage 2 kit and does anything need to be done to the engine to use this kit thanks guys

If im not mistaken... going stage 2 turbo will require some engine / clutch mods!!

Not entirely sure....My good friend back in Philly owns 2 03' Busa's......He called me about a month ago and said his little brother who is about 29 y/o and weighs about 150 lbs had just ran 8.3 in the qtr........I pretty sure he said 8.3

? I could call him and confirm the time and mods if you want. I will agree w/ a prior post...... a lot is the rider. Rider skill is everything!!!!

8.3 is purty fast, sounds like alot of fun though.

i am 5 10 bout 180 my last bike was a gsxr 750 with a 1258 motor with nos it went 5.30's so i do have a little time in on the 2 wheels

depends a good 1397 with spray will get you to a 8.4-8.6 maybe around 10-15K you almost need boost to get lower and be dependable that will run an easy 20K
