what ever happened to the 'Rake'

ever notice how disproportionate a stretched busa looks? the front of the bike is all shoved in looking while the back end is sometimes rediculously long. i do know that if you extend the swingarm to much you'll end up losing traction because the riders weight doesn't transfer to the rear wheel properly. i'm not bashing busa's (i have a stetched 08) i'm just curious to see if anyone else feels the same way about this issue. :beerchug:

sure, if ridden incorrectly, the stretch bike can smoke the rear tire with half the power of the standard length bike (weight transfer)

However, the guys that stretch them for racing also combine this stretch with softer compound tires and a track surface that that can take the shoes off your feet if you do not have your laces tied right.. Add this to "knowing" how to launch the bike?

Just more to making a stretch bike than a swingarm (at least if you are doing it for performance reasons) Just for show? simple stuff..

I like the look of the stretch bikes myself... just not my style of riding
