Looking at two models from this italian boot maker. Only thing concering me is the lack of shin protection. And I dont know how well cordura mixed with synthetic leather stands to abrasion. Second boot is full grain but slightly uglier and more expensive. What do you guys think?

They’re about $100 too much. I’ve worn these forever, either version. Great boots at a great price. Great customer service too. One time they sent the wrong size and before I could even return them they sent the correct size.

have u ever seen the daytona boots
like these available at the english page of www.louis.de ?

i got the so named "touring star" over 8 or 9 years ago and i have never regretted it.
100% water resistant till today
even a walk of around 3 miles is well practicable.

is the manufacturer "Daytona" available in the us ?

You’re asking the guy from Sweden? Revzilla varies them and they’re ‘sehr teuer’ here also.

jo - a bit expensive
i have i guess these here

but the comfort i bought is unsurpassable
and the service of "Daytona" is unbeatable i guess.
why?
tell ya
after now 8-9 years at both boots the "plastic protectors" above the toes were broken
and the soles of the shoes were broken too.
i sent the boots (via my louis.de trader) to daytona and got em back near new
plus re-colored/polished
after 2 weeks
costs for that 160 € incl. shiping.

i guess, if i ever need some new boots, in 8-9 years ;) , i will spend the money for a new pair, so satisfied i am with these boots. ;)
