What do you think about 2022 Aprilia RSV4 ?

Is it so fun on the road/daily basis?
That bike is an absolute track weapon , designed to carve with scalpel sharp finesse , so great for your favorite stretch of winding road . Yes it has lights etc. so road legal , but no , it would be criminal to subject it to everyday commute . The ride position is known to be uncomfortable for bigger riders , this is a special machine , and arguably the best choice for track day pilots etc. bar none .
The only real concern I can foresee , is finding a good Aprilia dealership / specialist local to you .

I owned an older one, beautiful bike stood out and unique around my parts. But it developed fueling issues (was used with low km's only had it for a month) parts were unavailable in north America and a fortune to order from Italy and just plain over-priced. I ended up going through insurance when I got a quote for repairs and got out of that nightmare. Maybe they are different now? That was years ago.

I almost bought a 2001 RSV Millie, it was a trade in with very low kms on it with the sweetest sounding Akrapovic high exhaust on it....

My buddy who owns the dealership took me aside and told me to steer clear of it as they are known to have lots of problems...

He said he had a 2002 Gixxer 1k demo for the same price if I wanted it...needless to say I took the Gixxer home.

A friend just bought an RSV4 and he's very happy with it. He's not screaming about how much better it is than his other five sport bikes anymore but it's still the one he talks about the most. There is a video circulating of a 2022 RSV4 blowing out a rod at 190 mph but that is probably just one of those isolated incidences that happen with sport bikes. As for the maintenance, the bike is to new to have needed any yet. I don't know if that will be an issue or not. I doubt it needs any more maintenance than other sport bikes but there may be special tools required.

Sexy and fast, but sized for 3/4 scale humans.
This guy is 67 years old, 6' 4" and 220 lbs. He's not an average sized guy but he's in great shape.

I just talked to the guy and he said his bike is a 2021 RSV4 which is identical to the 2022. According to him, it feels like his ZX-14. It's a lot bigger than the old RSV4 that was designed for Biagio.
