Synthetic oil
changeing gears feels as smooth as cutting butter now, never really believed the hype but for $10 more i figured what the hey and gave it a shot...will never go back to regular oil now,it made that much of a noticeable difference.
Next,Kand N air filter
besides being visibly more unrestrictive, you can actually feel the difference, now, when i bought my bike it was mapped without the filter in,reason being it was used strictly for drag raceing...also 10% fat to accomodate the NOS,so not wanting to ride i installed the stock filter that came with the bike this obviously changed the airflow it was mapped for.so I decided to go with the K and N filter before getting it re-mapped and it has made all the difference in the world with low end performance
i disengaged the TRE the IGPRO,now just use it for gear indicator,I forgot how sensitive the throttle really is,took me a good hr ride to get re aquainted with it...good news is the TRE does work with smoothing out the first few gears but i was getting to the point where I no longer wanted "smooth" and considering i havent even come close to 186mph i see no need to use the TRE for top end performance.have been up around 160 a few times and honestly, thats fast enough for me
just wanted to pass on some observations I made with the little changes to the bike
overall,extremely pleased with it
