what does water injection do for a motor? and where does the water get injected into

well its used to cool the intake air when using forced induction (turbo, supercharger,ect)

it gets injected into the tube that goes from the turbo or supercharger before it goes into the plenum(airbox). It removes heat from the air which turns the water to steam before it goes into the motor.

Use it for safty extra precaution, don't use it to turn the boost way up. It helps but remember it is not an intercooler. I run an Aquamist setup and have been happy with it.
