Hilary Hahn, one of our greatest talents. "The Talent of the Century." "Never
have audiences been so quiet, so many tears shed". Interpretive and expressive
genius unmatched. I've never been so affected by a violinist, not because she's
cute, I'd feel the same way if she looked like OJ Simpson.

True Itzhak Perlman is tops in Virtuosity, he.s +30yrs older. But check out her
interpretation of the chaconne. Many great players tear thru the arpeggios
too fast treating them like an etude, she's much more expressive IMHO.

Forgive my attempt at spelling his name but ,I would like to hear her with Yoyo mah in a quartet. Jules didn't you say you play a chello?

Hilary Hahns' version nice, but she misses a pluck.
Hahn doesn't need an echo chamber, her tone is tops

Wow, just wonder how these modern hotshots would compare
to N Paganini.

If I would have only spent more time practicing the Violin when I was younger, instead I learned to ride my mini-bike, a Honda QA50 with fat tires rolling the corn fields and forest preserves in the Chicago suburbs.

But I always have respect for those passionate artists, no matter their expertise. Nice thread, ya know, break it up a little.
