The day I have been waiting for has finally arrived. my girlfriend and I leave for Vegas in about half an hour. I'll keep this thread running with pics and updates, hopefully won't need to ask for help or a good shop in the area. we got the bikes in as good a condition as we could before we left and lets hope all goes well. our first stop is just outside Seattle tonight, I'll update then. wish us luck.

made it to the first hotel in federal way Washington. stopped in Seattle for a while and let the girlfriends katana cool off. air/oil cooled bikes do not like stop and go rush hour. from here we go to new port oregon tomorrow, then just north of San Fran and spend a day there, then off to yosemetie park and Death Valley. 2 days in Vegas and 1 in Reno then up the I-5 to home.

Make sure when you get here you do the Red Rock Scenic Loop, 13 miles of incredible scenery. Take Charleston West into the hills and you'll see the entrance eventually on the right! Make sure to dump some coin in our machines too....haha

Day 2 is over, were in New Port Oregon and had a nice supper on a patio over looking the ocean. Kind of a rainy gross start to the day wasn't till about 3pm till the sun came out. Not as much rain as I expected and I'm not complaining about that. New Port is a nice place, I could buy a summer home here......
The open ocean is pretty amazing, I have seen the ocean a million time before but around Vancouver its not the open ocean. Im not looking forward to tomorrow, a scheduled 7 hours of riding plus a lunch and some stretch stops. More to come tomorrow night

RSD.
that actually made me laugh out loud, well done sir.
it was an amazing trip. I'd do it again in a second. some long ass days. if anyone has done the Vegas to Reno trip in 1 day and not fallen asleep on the road at 90 your a better man then I. I have lots of pictures to post and a good story to tell I just haven't had time to do it yet. started a new job the day after we got home and just got wrapped up in life and it's seemingly decreasing amount of available time. I will work on that soon
